Meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month from September through June. Programs include demonstrations by artists, speakers concerned with the various aspects of watermedia, visits to artist studios, critiques of members' art by well known local artists, a picnic in June of each year and a winter gathering.

Exhibitions of members' work are planned for several times throughout the year. In the past, this has included well-received shows at Cazenovia College, the New Woodstock, Manlius and Fayetteville libraries, the Hospice Center and the Syracuse Library at the Galleries in Syracuse.

Workshops are held once a year for four-days, taught by a nationally known watercolorist. The workshops are for members and then for other community members if there is space available. The past several years this workshop has been held in the Community Room at the Cazenovia Library. They always fill up quickly.
